This game is quite an interesting bird.
On one hand, the plumage screams 1980s retro awesomeness. On the other hand, the game's length, controls and graphics shows it isn't quite to maturity yet. Which is forgivable, considering it's a prototype for #AbsurdAspectRatioJam2016.
Graphics are in a strange purgatory between low-poly and bland-and-blocky. The sound is great; despite the lack of sound effects, the music pushes it over the top to make a great experience. The controls are simple, but the gameplay is way too sluggish.
As I said, it feels more prototype than a short, one-level gamejam game. However, this cloud does have a silver lining: the potential to be a damn good racer with a retro 80's atmosphere.
