Updated the flame mechanic! 🔥
Tiles now have a “lit” attribute which will cause them to generate flame hits (5 dmg) 10 times every 0.4 sec.
Flames no longer stack, reapplying flame to a tile will cause it’s number of hits or (ticks) to 10.
The Inflame spell causes flames to spread in every cardinal direction.
Combust causes a 3x3 explosion dealing 50dmg on every flame on the field.
I wanted flame to feel more like a living breathing attack that reacted and could combo with spells other than root (holding them in place over flames). Now that they are attached to the tiles they are on, I can do a lot of fun stuff with tile mechanics, maybe even throw something like Conway’s game of life in there!
