You might get lost in the Hotoh Woods, but at least you won't go hungry! The place is filled with apple trees! Mina can collect apples (and other goods) and use them to craft food and medicine to restore her HP and AP!

One game I haven't talked about much, but was a huge influence on Crystal Story's gameplay, was Terranigma! If you've ever played Illusion of Gaia, then this will feel like a spiritual successor in some ways. The only way to play it now IIRC is emulation.
