Hi neko.works! I just gave Light Fairytale a try and I have to say I was very impressed with how much was there for your demo. I'm definitely looking forward to full release.

The things you did well you did very well: your art direction is solid and colorful. I like your overall sense of humor and I hope that stays within the launched version of the game. The writing was tight as well (and I mean it was clearly edited and edited well). You guys also pay a lot of attention to detail in areas a lot of games seem to miss these days (like how Haru and Kuroko actually put on their AR goggles when you bring up that screen). Overall had a wonderful experience!

That being said I hope that by the launch version you put that same detail in the battle animations. It's a little disappointing when you wait a turn to cast a thunder spell for it to just be Kuroko standing around with lightning sparking around her. It doesn't have to be over the top, but I would definitely trade the moving camera during battle for that if it were possible. It also would have been nice if the boss monster had a clearer death animation than what the spider queen does here, as it was a little confusing for me if I had actually won or not (as silly as that may sound).

Overall: love the concept, can see the inspiration behind it and you guys fully embrace old-school JRPGs. Can't wait to see more from your team! I did do a video of the demo as well that mentions a lot of what I talked about if anyone is interested.

Been working lately on lots of 'behind-the-scenes' boring stuff that no one really cares about, so here’s a guy playing the sax for some reason.

Shoobies leave a sticky trail of mucus in their wake, which can impede movement for any creature that steps in it.

We made a lot of improvements on the Freezing Plains visual. Things like pine trees, tiny bushes, some rocks, and others game props!

I have added rewards for quests so that villagers can give you something in return for your hard work helping them. 🥳

I want to know - what's your favourite quest reward?

A few screenshots of the places you'll cross in the Demo of Blu. You can play it today on #gamejolt !

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
