I just played this game, & recorded it for a Let's Play on YouTube because I loved the concept & the art in the promo images! Found it, & I can't wait to play the full game!!
Overall, I really like the art style in game, the music is really nice as a background element, & the fact that we get SO MANY dialogue options. When games do that, it makes my heart happy & my anxiety spike. What if I choose the wrong one? What if I upset Fate?? Which one fits better?? Just improves games like this, in my opinion.
Cons;
-I had issues with how big the paper & items are on the desk... If there's many papers, more than 4, it feels claustrophobic with EVERYTHING else on the desk itself. It makes it a bit harder to interact with or explore the other objects, & if you're like me, you'll want to push papers into piles as you're sorting them. This makes it kinda difficult to do so at times.
-The desk art stays under the move-able objects. Like, the biggest mini-pet-peeve I had was that you can place anything OVER the lamp. It doesn't look right, but it's such a tiny thing, it might just be me being weird. Dunno, thought I'd bring it up because why not?
Pros;
-Really nice art style, that keeps the tone serious even when a silly thing is brought up or mentioned. helps keep that anxiety up!
-Music is interesting enough to not get tired of, but calm enough that it works in the background very well.
-Characters are super mysterious, which for me keeps interest HARDCORE. Just what is Fates deal? Does he have feelings? Empathy? Has he been a reaper?? SO MANY QUESTIONS!
-The choices are difficult enough that I felt bad with some of the ones I made, so I'm scared for the full game. Fate said this is gonna get harder.. QwQ
But, yeah, All-in-all a super interesting game. My cup of tea!
