Before we start, thank you all for the amazing feedback I've receive for the past 3 weeks!
It's been really cool finally releasing the testbuild and see everyone play and having fun with it, I can't describe how happy I am right now, didn't even thought Depper Jar would reach 30 followers, like, that's 30 people wanting to see more of my game, it means the world to me and I appreciate every single one of you, thank you.
Of course, that doesn't mean everyone had fun or liked the game at all. Aside of the feedback, I receive criticism explaing why and how some of the mechanics weren't fun or simplely didn't work, making me see those same problems too.
And so, I spent the last 3 weeks working on a MAJOR update fixing almost every issue gameplay-wise, redesing assets, fixing bugs and overall making the game more fun and fast.
I highly recommend you to just download the new update, reset your save file and start a new run, but here's a list of all the changes in detail if you really need to.
Overworld:
The player has more gravity, it doesn't feel "floaty" anymore.
Some rooms and puzzles had to be redesing to fit with the new gravity.
Updated tilesets for the first two zones so it's easier to see the difference between walls and floor.
Now while sprinting with [Shift], [Z] will automatically set to Jump until It's released.
And little update for the menu interface to make it more prettier (I'm still planning to re-code the whole menu system but for now I think it's fine.)
tl;dr: i fixed the overworld
Battle system:
The Blade attack has been completly re-done, now it works more like how you fight in Deltarune with the moving cursor and pressing [Z] at the last box (and it's also way faster.)
Some small adjustments to the Jump attack to make it more readable and faster.
More dynamic attack, defend and heal "counters."
Those "eternal aproching cutscenes before attacking" are also faster and unnoticeable.
And now, you can actually fail the Jump attack pressing [Z] at the wrong time!
tl;dr: i fixed the combat, now its fun and fast
Misc:
The Sylver cutscene skips once you die in the fight.
The Sylver's "Sakuya transformation" also skips once the attack is done.
Sylver's weird gun attack changed completly to make it more fair.
Added one Life Capsule in the Test Zone.
Life Capsules now only contains 2 HP (nerfed.)
Fixed some weird glitches with the Ocarina.
BGM bugs fixed.
And a little bit of re-work in every enemy attack (had to re-write the damage function like 10 times while implementing it on all the attacks, this is why it took too long to release this update.)
In overall, play the updated version right now!
If you didn't liked the game, felt slow or tedious, I really, REALLY, REALLY recommend you to give it another shot!
If you were planning to record the game, talk about it or share it with your friends PLEASE do it but with this version instead, It should be a better experience.

I'm still writting the next devlog (now for December *dreamworks face*) regarding the future of the project, what happened to the "real Depper Jar" and some sort of Depper Jar's developer commentary... but in text.
