Hello there, Beatle here.
So it's been a while since we said anything about the game(in fact we never did).
So now we'll give you an initial update on Swapped Myth.
Over these last few months we've done a lot of work. Most of that work has been put into the overworld, and we have a decent amount to show for it.
For starters, we have a functioning party system.
We also did a lot on menus have implemented a rounded style to our boxes. Don't worry, you can always revert back to the square style.
We've also done the first two rooms. We don't want to spoil too much, so here's a nice view.
Finally, the last Overworld thing we want to show is our menu.
And that all we we'll show overworld-wise in this devlog. We'll be working hard on the overworld engine and rooms (seriously, dialogue engines are really annoying to code).
Next is our battle engine. To be honest, this isn't nearly as complete as our overworld engine. But we're working on it! So because of this, we'll do a quick-fire showcase
Wowie! It's a portrait!
Awesome bars!
Circular buttons!
Don't worry, we will work more on the battle engine at some point! And that's about it for the battle engine
Our musicians have been hard at work creating beautiful music for this game. For more of that, check out our soundcloud.
And that's about it for this devlog. To see more progress on this game, join our disord server.
Thank you for reading!
