in the past days i had thought of an idea to make the game somewhat challenging, i had the idea and tried to put it into the game. there were some major problems and still are to get this to work, but its nearing the end and requires everyone who downloads the newest update to start a fresh save.
A new attribute is acquired throughout the whole game.
Depression
Serious Depression
*Suicidal
think of these as the 3 stages of depression, with each stage you become weaker and have a chance of doing nothing for a turn with each stage becoming higher chance of turn passing. on top of this each stage increases your debuff 15%less attack defence and hp for stage 1 depression. 25% for stage 2 and 45% for stage 3. stage 3 is dangerous and must be delt with soon because there is a chance of killing yourself in battle.
Dont be scared because there are solutions for curing depression, although not permanent, this is a solution if your scared of getting in combat depressed.
weed heals and cures depression
Beer cures depression for a short time and adds +1 level afterwards
mushrooms can heal depression for a longer time than weed does
Rave candy cures depression more than weed but shorter than mushrooms but with a chance of confusion or trip.
*helping people can relive depression but is not stronger than weed.
on top of this there will be more items and more state effects like crying, peeing, Confused, and sleepy.
each state will have a cure item for that specific state only. which will include new items like.
eyedrops
sponge (for pee)
bottle of water(for sleepy)

bandage(bleeding
bread(hangover or drunk)
