I have noticed that many people living in Russia have seemingly been led to believe that Ukraine is a Nazi country. I feel like this is a baseless claim about them that can be disproven incredibly fast, just by looking into the exact views of Nazis:
Nazis were highly anti-semitic. During the Holocaust, 6 million innocent people were killed for simply being Jewish. This is because the leader of the Nazi empire (Adolf Hitler) believed that Jews were evil. Ukraine has not denied the Holocaust, and also has an active Jewish community. Infact, the leader of Ukraine is confirmed to be Jewish.
The Nazi Empire was opposed by many countries. Ukraine has received support from the United Kingdom, France, and other countries that actively stood against the Nazi Empire during the second world war. If Ukraine was proven to support Nazi ideals, then these countries would not show support towards the Ukrainian people.
The Nazi empire was also incredibly racist, and carried out methods of "ethnic cleansing" against anyone who did not fit their leader's idea of a pure human being. Ukraine, meanwhile, has been shown to welcome many different people, regardless of their ethnic origins. Even Russians are welcome in Ukraine.
To put it simply, I believe that Russia and Ukraine can coexist peacefully, as the majority of people from both places are good people. But for this to happen, the truth needs to be understood, and what is told to people will need to be challenged.
However, that does not change my stance on the user mentioned in my previous posts. They have broken the rules of this website by making death threats against any users who are Russian, and by posting pornography. Them having the Ukrainian flag in their bio does not change my views on them, as they are still not a good person.
