As you most likely know, I was banned from the Discord server yesterday.

While I do acknowledge that I am very much at fault for engaging in the off-topic conversation in #df-chat (regrettably at such a late hour of the night I failed to realize how badly it had derailed-), I also think everyone can agree that being banned for my first word after the warning is just a little ridiculous.

If unbanned, I promise to stop doing things like this just "for the rule of funny" and take the moderation more seriously.

But, in case you decide that you are going to keep THIS strike specifically, I would like you to perhaps reconsider my existing strike.

The reason this "skibidi" got me banned in the first place is because I was already striked. And this strike was actually 2 separate DS'es before the strike system was changed:

I'd like to mention that both of these are from 2022, notably during a time where the admin team was generally disliked by the community. As you may have noticed, I've grown far past this type of behavior during the two years since then, especially considering that I left the server right after the second DS and didn't rejoin until over a year later.

I'm under the impression that these events from an entirely different era shouldn't be affecting my punishments today. But I completely understand if you'd like to keep accounting for these for consistency's sake.

This dragged on for longer than it should so I just want to add that in case this gets rejected completely, I want everyone in the server to know that it's been an amazing run and that more info will be revealed later.
