I guess we’re gonna have to start the new year fresh this time.


Originally I was considering just not working on this anymore, but the engine I was working on was build off of the first Scratch Version, which was pretty faulty, plus, the idea I had for the game was very much different than what I have in mind now.

So I’m gonna try to rebuild the entire engine from ground up again, I wasn’t really as far in it to begin with, so I guess I should at least have a little bit of faith in myself for once and try to at least do this again

It kinda was a tough decision to make but it’s probably for the best

On a much different note, I made my own custom little thing(yes in Turbowarp deal with it) that will help me like find the dimensions of like the 2D paper sprites, so I can get their sprite Z and hitbox dimensions easier without the hassle

I really wish I can show you guys what I’ve done so far as a video, but my laptop keeps revolting against me so ig screenshots will do. Anyways… Operation Cleanup Progress so far!

Added slopes in once again, and everything's actually pretty good! Even with the slopes in the depth sorting is still working as it should, which is weird cuz in the other engine it acted pretty jank around slopes. Good to know that it still works tho

I am SUPER freakin close, in terms of it doing what I want it to do, IT WORKS, with one issue

Just gotta figure out another issue with it and hopefully it’ll still do what I want it to do without any issues
