I have finally managed to get a bit of an art budget and I have two artists working on bringing the game to life! A new release with fewer placeholders.... soon
This project sat on the shelf for a few months but I have picked it back up and overhauled the battle system, replacing the skill tree and playstyle with deck building card battles. This is the first playable build with the new system.
I thought I would do a quick show and tell, with a 2 min video of the start of the game and some of the game elements, after many many months it is really starting to come together, time to start networking https://gamejolt.com/games/Dungeon_fable/490669
A quick look at the current state of the different scenes in Dungeon Fable
A new release of Dungeon Fable, side quests are now mostly bug free and I have begun upgrades to the fight interface by adding projectile animations and splatter, it looks a little dodgy currently, but it is a start.
Improved the graphics by including changes that I made to the engine for another game I am building. The next update shouldn't be far off and it will include the first three quest types, bringing essential content into the game.
The original concept for this game was turn based and single player, I wanted online multiplayer and rebuilt much of the base of the game. Although an unfinished game, I revisit it every now and then, have a go: http://derek.net.au/superhero/
working some of the new artwork into the story generator
A piece I wrote for Dungeon Fable, happy holiday fireplace https://gamejolt.com/games/Dungeon_fable/490669
Shoobies leave a sticky trail of mucus in their wake, which can impede movement for any creature that steps in it.
