I have been a touch quiet recently. I'm here to break my silence and talk about what's next for KoR.

It's been a while since my last update. I wish I could say that I'd been productive in that time and that I have big news about KoR but I'm afraid that couldn't be further from the truth.

The clunky laptop I'd been working on was struggling to keep up, could barely hold a charge, and wasn't keen on it's charger either. I've decided it's time to retire it.

Game development is something I'm doing in my spare time. Spare time hasn't been coming easily to me recently. I've have just written and produced a successful play (woo!) which has kept me very busy. Since my full-time job as the CEO of a start-up theatre company doesn't exactly pay very well, I took on a part-time job as an Apple specialist. There I provide tech help and repair services- it's good fun. That part-time job accidentally became a ful-time job which means I now have two of those and I barely sleep.

The upside to my new full-time-part-time job is that I have a new computer. It's a MacBook Pro (because I'm an Apple specialist, of course it's a Mac) which means I no longer have access to Game Maker Studio without making the upgrade to GM:S 2. I'd like to make the upgrade but I can't afford that right now. I'm going to try a virtual machine for now and I'm also looking into Godot.

Another exciting development! I have taken the HDDs out of my pile of dead machines. I'm going to be archiving a lot of old projects from those drives and maybe even releasing some of my early work. I'm even planning on digging out my old Desktop PC and roting through that hard drive as well. Could be interesting.

So that's where I am right now. I'll keep you all updated.
