Path to Paradise: Weeds

I'm back?????

I finally have something to show, meet The Supervisor.

They run the Beyond Borders Aeon Library. Not much is known about The Supervisor as they tend to stay out of the way of Patrons but according to some locals in the area they used to be much friendlier with everyone.

I wonder what happened to change that?

That's all I have for new sprite art(for now) however I want to give a general update on things and explain why it's been so slow.

First things first I've been working on a Game Design Doc. It's been great for productivity as I'm able to better track progress and have a solid guide for what to do. Before this I was just building maps and making characters without any idea on how they'd connect or what they'd do.

Second up, I've been working on the story. This project has gone through at least 4 revisions over the course of the year, it's changed tone, aesthetic and most importantly story. It wasn't until around a few months ago that an idea really clicked and ever since the world building and characters have been just clicking together. I'm so excited to show off more

Third and finally, this one isn't update related but I have an Itch.io page that I'll also be hosting the game on. So I'll leave the link to that right here https://tsukisuk.itch.io

That's all for now. See you next year!

Super Sonic Pixel art.

A calm and quiet day.. Made surreal by the feeling of finding an elven building in the mountains, and wondering of its purpose and story. I built this elven style house and it was my first attempt at something like this, but what do you think?

This is my first post so be gentle!
