While I'm currently in the process of making more voxel sprites of the characters, I've decided to work with objects and items that will be featured in this game. I tried to replicate the treasure items as close to the original game as much possible. Let me know what you think.
Also, it is worth noting that I'm using an item editor shown here in this screenshot revealing how the item will take affect to the player, I have not created a script for these items just yet, but eventually that will have to wait after I have created more characters.
As for the voxel characters I mentioned earlier, I still have a few more enemies to recreate in 3D, the problem here is that it's going to take much more of my time to replicate some of the most difficult characters that are bigger than most enemies including Druaga, the dragons, and ropers. On top of that, I may have to make multiple frames to be able to animate their movement and attack, which also may need to be scripted.
After I'm done with those two, I'll move on to making scripts and the map layout for all 60 floors. I may have to add a debug room to test certain features just to be sure that every script in this game is working properly, but this "room" will not be available for players to access so easily.
