I made a pretty huge post last year about all the cool things I did and people I met.

But this time around (probably much to your convenience, there's way better things to do on the last day of the year than read GJ posts), there's far less to report.

I don't think it's any secret I didn't really finish this year strong on Game Jolt. I've barely touched my account in the last few months. Outcasts STILL hasn't released, and I've been far too busy to make any significant progress, much less share it.

HOWEVER...

I DID release LittleGame at the beginning of the year, and I'm not done with it yet. Huge thanks to everyone who pitched in there to test it (you can find them on the game page) and to those who chose to play the game.

I DID follow LittleGame up with Kyomu Kara and Stone Garden, games which may not have gotten that much attention at all, but are still completed projects that I think are kinda neat. Also Garden was briefly streamed on Twitch so that was cool.

I know better than to promise any release dates I can't make, but I'm still trying to keep trucking along with Outcasts, and hopefully I'll finish it before Jesus comes back. Or at all. I burn out fast, I guess.

I'm currently working on a book for a class I'm taking, and that'll release spring next year, I think? So keep an eye out for that!

I've also been recording a lot of music I plan to publish soon. I've been trying to release since September, but personal stuff has delayed that for a hot minute.

And there's a handful of other projects planned for whenever Outcasts is finally done.

I want to give a huge shoutout to @LinkInkGames for the immense amount of support, enthusiasm, assurance and inspiration I've received over the year. I genuinely don't think I'd have finished LittleGame without him.

Link, you're a super creative dude, and it's tremendous how much you can get done when you set your mind to something. Can't wait to see what the future holds for The Flipside, Lucid, and whatever other projects you're trying to juggle at the moment!

Also a big shoutout to @ERROR989 , the creative genius behind the original plot of Outcasts, as well as @TheMuffinMan343 . Outcasts, though a game I'm developing solo, is a group project at heart, and it wouldn't exist without them. They both ditched Game Jolt awhile back, but I'd still recommend checking out their older posts.

And a huge thanks to YOU! I appreciate you for your support and your time. Don't ever let other people put a damper on your creativity or tell you what you can't do. If I can make a game, or a song, or a picture, or a video, anyone can.

Catch you next year!

Couldn't sleep last night so I came up with this riff. I hit kind of a dead spot with the songs I was recording, so this was a really nice change of pace.

Cover for a short book I'm trying to do.

Scary games.

Happy #WIPWednesday! Are you working on a game? Making some art? Practicing a song? Something else? Tell us in the comments!

Scary Christmas game with a bunch of crazy people

The account's been pretty dead lately, so here's a new cover for the comic I'm working on.

Shop Crush is a hybrid visual novel, where you connect with customers, learn their characters, and untangle the dark, Literal Illusion puzzles about them.

The game's playtest has begun. We're celebrating with a quest!

ME. I have the coolest mask in gaming.

A close second would probably be Sammy Lawrence from the Bendy series, though.
