I want to get this really out of my chest just because of how infuriating it is to discuss about it. What is it that I need to say ? Well it’s the fact that Twitter and even Reddit are the worst social media platforms to grow a small content creator. The reason as to why because both of these platforms have users that are whiney crybabies/bitches and that both of these platforms are heavily toxic to other users and even other communities and fandoms as a whole. Now I have removed my account from Twitter and even Reddit so don’t expect any new posts on those platforms. What made me prompt to make this post ? In the Analog Horror community there was an unfortunate passing that happened to a user by the name of Unknowingly. This small content creator created a series called “The Man In The Suit” analog horror series and he got cyber bullied online by people from the Godzilla Community/fandom on Twitter. In which resulted him to take his own life. This creator was a kid and he had other analog horror series that he wanted to create and continue such as “Mechanical Instinct” a Murder Drones Analog Horror series and “Stupid Cupid” which was his own slasher analog horror series. He also made a Roblox game called “Suitborn” based on his first analog horror series. Then on April 13th he made this post on his YouTube Channel.
When I heard that he committed suicide and realized how toxic and I mean Very toxic Twitter was at that point I had enough. I deleted my account from that shit site and deleted it. Also you know what’s the worst thing about this ? Many YouTubers such as Matpat before his retirement he covered “The Man In The Suit” series on Film Theory channel on YouTube. Matpat told Unknowingly that he should continue the series and ignore the bullies that were bullying him on the internet.
To be honest I actually really enjoyed “The Man In The Suit” series it was interesting, it had a fun concept and idea, and now we won’t get the ending that the series needs.
R.I.P Unknowingly
We will all miss you. 😢
