In summary, Servo is currently experimental, like, REALLY experimental, so it's missing a lot of features and can cause latency and even crash sometimes because it's extremely difficult to create a brand new browser almost from scratch.
The goal of this browser, when it is finally released to the general public, is to be more secure than Chrome and Firefox and to be lighter because it is based on a programming language that, if I remember correctly, is more secure, simpler, and more modern. Note that I may be mistaken and that I have not yet double-checked this part of the text.
The name (Servo) reminds me of the word “cerveau,” which means “brain” in French.
