If you remember a while back I had a spherical golf game prototype. Might be worth it to revisit it, or maybe I'll try something new. This voxel prototype, while interesting, it's not fun. But the tech entirely shader/GPU based, it's all faked, which means I can design the levels in flat 3D, then turn it into a planet in game. One of the biggest hurdles of my sphere golf game was modelling, because mapping 3d meshes to a sphere while making it modular, and reworking Unity's physics is very hard! I actually never thought about doing it on the GPU, so I might be cooking. But I also want to try something new. We'll see. I'm currently in an ideation phase.

Next up
Through sheer determination I got it up and running. It ain't much but it was very cool! Wouldn't mind making a game jam length game in VR.
Working on the procedural techs, you might end up with smaller tech trees or these giant tech trees, or somewhere in between.
Been working on a lot of game feel, UI polish. And I got some feedback externally. It's so juicy and nice to play. The core loop is done, now I just need to add content and things
Super cool new feature! 🧪
I had to make a tool to rapidly design levels, ended up creating a fairly intuitive level editing system, might ship it with the game as an actual feature.
I'm sick yet again so I'm doing a casual playthrough of Trail & Trade. I absolutely love this little fade animation I did, it's a shame it's so late game most won't see it. So here's a fun clip (spoilers)
Play it here for free: https://gamejolt.com/games/trail_and_trade/1008039
Been having a lot of fun tinkering with this, added some sound and visual flair. It's also really satisfying to me seeing the board clear, maybe that's just me.
3 sprite sheet (in a gif format) for my OC Kitsuneko Aiko. Mostly just art practice but maybe for my puzzle game (I'm not really an artist).
Simple arcade-y puzzle block game prototype. It's actually pretty fun and was fairly low effort. Puzzle game coming soon maybe?
After spending hours debugging a CPU player, I gave up and added a timer instead. Also made this sprite of my OC who may or may not be the protagonist. She even reacts to combos. I still have ideas of how I can expand the timer + more ideas for the game.
Working on some game juice and the new "special" block
