When Nintendo announced they closed the 3ds eShop. People freak out about Nintendo wanting to take retro games (GBA, NES, SNES, etc) out of the digital store to get more money or whatever.
Nintendo added a catalogue growing of NES, SNES, N64 and GBA titles for Nintendo online subscribers. We don't pay for each game of the catalogue + free if already paying to play online (premium subs for N64 and GBA ones).

Nintendo announced the end of the gold coins program at the release of the Switch 2. They want money aidbekeoenbdjd
Nintendo probably plans to release a new program with a new advantage. Let them cook. They haven't even announced yet what they will do instead of the gold coins program lol.

Nintendo is taking down Emulators and Roms website because they give us no longer buyable games. Greedy.
As a 27 years old man, I can tell I was there in the peak of Roms stuff (and Dolphin for emulating Gamecube was not even functional) and I saw a LOT of Roms websites proposing paid subscriptions to download faster (Internet with 10 Mbps was good in that time). So, they were making money with Roms, which is illegal.

Nintendo is against fanart because they can't make their games good for the fans.
I am annoyed af about this goofy argument. Let me explain how the fanart games are not always legit.
To be legit, the fanart Nintendo game should
Use no sprites from other Nintendo games. Many Pokemon fanart games use unedited stolen sprites, so this is a copyright problem whatever the game company implied.
Use no music from a Nintendo game.
Must be free without ads revenue or tips.
YES, if you have YT ads revenues or Kofi tips to support your fanart game development and/or updates, this is considered for commercial purposes not fair use.
Since like 99% of the fanart games do not meet these requirements, they are legit to be taken down.
For real, what would be the purpose of a copyright, if anyone can do fanart of any games and add questionable content without being taken down for copyright?

Cry about it or not, but Nintendo is still standing in the industry for providing many innovative games by year with a minimal amount of bugs.
If they accidentally release a bugged game, they will not lie about it (like EA and Battlefield 2042). For Pokemon Legend Arceus, they admit it and patched it the more they can to make it playable (Battlefield 2042 is still a mess lol).
