if anyone is curious about the progress...


Current progress is concentrated around first 2 "chapters" and sort of prologue? As that one is a recent addition, and everyone is busy with exams... myself majorly included. But it's somewhat going nicely


Concepts:

so far so good mostly. Plenty of ideas. Some stuff need polishing, or more in depth look, but I have a somewhat solid picture of what would be happening. The major points of re-thinking are - Ch2, Ch4 and inclusion of Ruins for prologue...


Music:

this one so far has the best progress, I'd say, but as stated above, due to recent extension of prologue, got bit more work...

Prologue - is so so, content wise it's worth of it's own big demo or smth, so... yeah. But lucky enough, part of tracks are re-used, so some of them are already ready, and some been worked on.

Ch1 - almost done, basically needs around 3 more tracks +/- to be finished (some of which, again, re-used at other parts), so... yeah this one is mostly finished.

Ch2 - around halfway? 4 is done, 2 are being worked on, and 5 more don't have a progress yet.. but again, quite steady.

Ch3 - this one is on paper could be somewhat big, so it'll need a proper in depth look later. Currently 2 tracks are made (but one needs to be updated), and one is in WIP state. Rest wasn't even started, due to this being somewhat later. So I don't rush things to this point, unless we finish all prior stuff earlier lol.

Ch4 - this one is an interesting case, as I'm still debating on some ideas, about including some stuff or not, and as well as size of some events.. so tracks might be added or could be scrapped. But currently only 2 tracks (or well one old track and 1 ambient) are made. Rest wasn't even touched, but some things been discussed with musicians.


Sprites

This one is a bit tricky, as I'm still deciding and testing on what visuals should be. As I don't want to overcomplicate things, especially for myself and anyone who might potentially help me in making this project. Battle sprites so far have bit more luck than overworld ones. But I'm working on updating some battle ones, to stay somewhat consistent and on starting the proper progress on OW, as currently my attention is concentrated on prologue and first 2 chapters, or majorly Ch1, as it re-uses Pinefell assets. + New Eden needs to have a more proper concepts for it... welp, so-so. Will try to come up with something, and if I'll have anything interesting to show - you'll guys know it.

also Sans might get a new font... as for Papyrus, debating, for now thinking on just trying to fix the existing font (not new to do it, but oh well- u know)


Art

this goes majorly somewhat poorly, as I don't have any artists that are free to help rn so uh... trying to do stuff myself, which isn't my strongest side. Currently trying to go for banner for the page. Wish me luck lol


Coding

I'll be fair, rn not much. Currently engine itself is in works. And very slowly as both me and Cassyi are busy + I go through motivation ups and downs... so it happens. But slowly. Hopefully will have smth interesting soon.


Writing

As for idea and main events - goes nicely so far. I mean, majority been done prior lol. But more in depth stuff or dialogues - not so much yet. Will get to those either when assets or coding will be close enough to needing specifics in writing.
