1: Make it detailed.

Detailed games get a lot of attention, just put some effort into designs to make it look alot better and not just some quick-made designs.

2: Make the gameplay interesting.

Making the gameplay interesting is the most important part of Video Games, it makes it famous. But if its too boring, your game may not get that much attention which causes some fans to either abandon the game or just never really care about your game.

3: Add Lore.

Lore is REALLY important to every game, including horror games, adventure games, roleplay games and more. Lore means Story, so make the Story interesting enough. If its interesting enough it means that your game may get attention.

4: No AI Slop.

Hire actual Artists (if you can't then do your artstyle for your game). If the game was coded by an AI or just AI slop, then your game would most likely die the minute the news was released.
