I’ve managed to implement unlockables in-game! This means that the next version of Schwarzerblitz will provide some cool extra stages and characters to obtain via arcade mode ;)
The next release will also fix the current issues with throws: most of the characters can simply beat the AI by repeating the throw (this is true until Hard difficulty pops in); in addition, they are really hard to evade.
I have increased the opportunity window for escaping the throw from 4 to 9 frames (ca. 150 ms) and I will add a delay time of approx. 5 frames after completion, so that a player won’t be able to keep on throwing an opponent after wake-up.
