Recently, I haven't been happy with the direction in which the game is going. The development has been all over the place and I didn't like how the game played.
After researching different fighting game mechanics and how other fighting games function, I have realized that the game was going in a direction I didn't want to. I've always wanted to make a Jojo game that I would be happy and satisfied with and I think that straight up copying what HFTF already does wouldn't make me happy and would leave me disappointed with the final product.
I have decided to make the game the way I envision it while still taking a lot of inspiration from other fighting games (HFTF included) but also making it a good and fun game. The game is now going in a different direction and the approach is much more organized. Me and the people who I will list below have formed a development team and are working on the game together.
We have started off by making DIO and Jotaro (with original movesets) as the first two playable character, which we will use to showcase new mechanics. The bigger development team also allows us to make more characters (demanded characters like Anasui, Gyro, Gappy ect.) and push out quality content faster.
So now, I'd like to welcome all of the new developers. I'm very thankful for their help!
