I started making this game in Fall 2014. When it was clear it wouldn’t be done by that Halloween, I shelved the project, working on it a little bit here and there. In mid-2015 I went into high gear on it to make sure it was done in time for Spooktober, and October 1 seemed the perfect date for release.

The game should be bug-free, but if you find any glitches, be sure to let me know so I can fix them.

I’ve uploaded the soundtrack as well. It’s only a few tracks, and some variations of the main theme are missing since they’re edited in the game itself, but if I can find a way to extract or re-create those, I’ll add them because why not.

A word of warning: This game doesn’t hold your hand. There’s no game over screen, but if an enemey gets you, there are consequences. There are also three endings: True, Hopeful, and Hopeless. I might put together a guide or walkthrough sometime, but for now the only clue you get is that there are 7 journals in the game. Find them all (and meet other requirements) and you’ll get Journal 8. Using it unlocks the true ending.

Feel free to try to break the game. You might even be rewarded in-game for your efforts. There are a lot of secrets, Easter eggs, and mysteries to unravel.
