Initial release!

After a few too many hours of tweaking the art to fit into just 32x32pixels, I’ve finally come to a stopping point. Game functions properly under OSX, iOS and Flash. In a fit of something I implemented a handful of keyboard shortcuts in case you found the pink pulldown/popup tray too annoying mid game: ‘Z’ Undo, ‘Q’ Quit to the menu, ‘N’ New Tiles.

I did have one final silliness getting things to actually work correctly in flash on gamejolt.com, but turned out to just be a minor logic error which was easy to track down with the help of the debug build of the flash player. Hoorah?

Anyways, twas fun widdling stripping the art and widdling this game down to the bare essentials at 32x32px. Since this is definitely more fun on a phone, would like to do a proper App Store / Google Play mobile release someday, but I’m not sure it’s worth the hassle. We’ll see.

Also, would like to release the code, but would prefer to figure out a couple haxe/flixel best practices to replace a couple kludges I ended up using to get this out the door. If you’re interested in the code, send me a shout.
