Kayla was founded by Dr. Golden as a lost soul, trapped in this "Game" thanks to Phantom Ian. She is unable to control the urge to jumpscare and kill humans because it is what she is used to. And she is forced to. She feels a great pain about it and wants to stop but Ian will not let her. But there is someone else pulling the strings too.
