It’s been a minute!!
A lot of progress has been made on the “back-end” and now I’m back to adding features that were in the initial list of features.
One of those features is wildcards. Now I may not have mentioned this but inspiration for Battle Buggy Glitch was actually drawn from my first game Battle Buggy Grounds which drew inspiration from Battle City, the NES Classic top down tank shooter.
If you have played that NES classic, then you probably know of the random drops that spawn in game. Allowing you to do things like freeze time, blow up enemies on screen and even improve your tank.
The wildcard mechanic is similar, only that it’s on steroids of course. muhahahahahaahah.
The two pictures above represent 2 of the 6 random powerups you could get.
Anyway, more dev logs coming. It’s all about polish now. All levels complete.
By the way, at first I thought the game was hard, till I played Enter The Gungeon… now, I don’t know :)
