Introduction Demo is out!

Hello.

Yes, it took quite a while to finally progress on this game properly, but things have been working out greatly for me recently.

As the title of the devlog says, the short teaser-type demo that I showed the gameplay of earlier is now in a fully playable state, ready for you to download.

Few things to note:

  • This is merely 10% of what the game will include in the final release

  • It’s heavily unfinished, you may experience a lot of issues

  • The demo isn’t 100% canon to the actual story of the game

  • This build was made in 2 weeks

The game is also heavily optimized. It may lag at a few moments, but for the most part you should be able to play it on Ultra High at 40fps with even a weak PC.

Just so you get the idea of it, I limited the render distance and made every object outside of the player’s vision not rendered (eg. behind you or behind a wall).

Also, I might add more things to the demo later on. I may add a few easter eggs, and maybe another ending.

Anyways, enough rambling. Hope you enjoy this small build.

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
