Is this the right approach?

3d Modeling has not always been easier for me than drawing 2d but lately that is my reality. While I enjoy working in Photoshop, I felt out of touch with 3ds max and decided I worked faster making models than churning out 2d images. What do you guys think? Should I stick to 2d or switch to 3d?
Since this game is going to be a sidescroller I thought that another benefit of doing it with 3d assets would be adding depth to the side scrolling.

So far I have done the assets for the grave yard and put together a little demo scene.
Let me know what you think.

Jungle Assets - A Week Behind - Sigh I am very sad to say that I did get sick once more and hopefully for the last time in a long time which impeded my progress quite a bit. This week I will be sprinting to catch up with last weeks goals.

Village People Are Finished For now, the village people are done and I have enough to finally decide the color pallette. I started around 11 am and finished around 2:30 pm

Just as Pecaminosa's musicians #improvise this rendition of #LittleSunflower 🌻, so do we improvise with this post you're reading. 😂

What's coming out of your own improvs? 🤔
