I know it's been a while since I've made any announcements or shown any progress. I'm doing my best to keep up with this, balance my life, and rebuild my confidence I lost. So, the game, or at least the demo was released last year on March 30th 2024. Yeah, it's already a year.

That's pretty awesome for a year.

Feedback, from what I have gathered, has been positive too (well, except for one incident on Twitter/X). People love the cartoon graphics, like the simple gameplay, and I'm gonna assume playing as 2 legged Dragon for once lol. One person mentioned they felt nostalgic, reminded them of those old flash games. Technically what I was going for was giving people a feel of Genesis/Mega Drive and SNES game but I'll take it, lol.

Criticism is mostly directed to how the controls were mapped and game's difficulty especially on the 1st level. Yeah, sorry about the controls, but hey they are tight and responsive. And about the difficulty, see I wanted to make a tough game since this game is callback to the 80s/90s games I grew up with, and they were tough. I'm working on balancing the difficulty and giving players an ability to map the controls (if possible).

What's next?

Well, I'm trying to work on the next level, Monster Cavern, just struggling with which enemies I should use, that's tough. Maybe because I'm trying to fit the theme, or model them after the boss like the last level. But, I think I'm close to making a decision so I can move on. I'll try to keep you guys posted best I can.

My thoughts on the Switch 2:

Well, I think it's a nice upgrade of the 1st Switch, and the games are pretty cool too, especially Mario Kart World.

Not happy about the game prices though. Probably gonna just get the console 1st.

I FINALLY decided on the enemies for Monster Cavern

SnotFire, the one -eyed monster, has a bad cold and will sneeze fire.

RockSmash, a rock like monster, will try to smash you and is very durable

Never get up close to Krush, but Draco doesn't seem too worried though.
