Code Red Restored

It's been 15 years since the original release of Code Red. Despite its looks, it was actually well received back then.

I've had plans to make a much more sophisticated sequel, but it'll have to wait until my current projects are completed.

If you're curious/ bored, you can still check out an updated version of the game here on Game Jolt. If nothing else, it's a very challenging game (unless you play on the easiest difficulty).

I had this planned many years ago, so it's exciting to finally design it.

I've redesigned some of the early game enemies, which means the game no longer has "borrowed" graphical assets. I'll release a demo with these changes and more next week.

Happy #WIPWednesday! Are you working on a game? Making some art? Practicing a song? Something else? Tell us in the comments!

The world map's layout is now 100% done! Besides that I'm working on a new update that'll add more options to the game like rebinding keys.
