It's been a while, an idea for a Midbyte V2 update

I haven’t touched Midbyte V2 since last year. I kinda wanna go back and add things.

For an update, I think I have the following planned:

  • A new level for Space Ruins (which likely makes you lose progress on world boss)

  • Gamepad support (I got the basic gist, just gotta stuff the code somewhere in there…)

  • Some tweaks on the Map (or merely the addition of the removed V1 feature)

  • Different control sets (maybe even for Gamepad but not likely)

  • Potential performance fixes (but likely not, the game has barely any problems now…)

I might not have all these for the next update, but I’ll try my best to make it alongside Happy Block Platforming ,or as it’s now called Jim’s Jolly Journey: The Anomaly.

So I can make profile posts? Neat. Lately, I've focused on Midbyte's sequel, "Into Another World", but active development hasn't started yet, so a Devlog is not available. Stay tuned, I guess.

Some progress made I’ve worked on Midbyte a little . See the following GIF that shows the first level… Nothing more will be available anytime soon…

Midbyte V2 is released! Now, after several months, I’ve finally finished V2. I hope. There may still linger a bug or two here and there, or things that are out of place so be sure to notify me! I hope you’ll enjoy what V2 has to offer.

A ridiculously difficult level? I’ve made some weird and hard levels… I think this will fit as the 3rd World’s hidden level, “Ultimate Challenge”. Could be a lot harder than this, honestly… The last screen is obviously the easiest…

Progress has been slow but I think it's going forward...

So has there been any progress?

Well, yes but actually no.

Here's a peaceful little forest scene for this #screenshotsaturday, from the beginning of the game.

Another house i made long time ago.

Sometimes the suction cup get sticky. Small animation I made in Blender after doing my tutorial on picking up/dropping objects in animations. Crate model by jQueary (https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/game-ready-sci-fi-crate-d98deca6…).
