It's been a while since my last post, so you know what that means...

It's devlog time!


-CHANGES-

Some changes were made since the last post, but not as many. Here are they:

  • Some of the attacks were adjusted to be more easy to dodge

  • now when you start a new game you get sent to phase 1, and not phase 2 (I'll explain this later)

  • The hitbox was changed again, so now instead of a circular shape, it's now a square

  • Fixed some errors and bugs

See? we're finished already with changes, now it's time for the things added in


-ADDITIONS-

The most noticeable addition is the implementation of phase 1 to the same project as phase 2, which was not possible before due to my pc that time being a potato, so the lag was too much for me. Thus, some stuff was added in just for the phase 1 implementation

  • The damage system was changed a bit to implement the "miss" message

  • Now Mario can smoothly dodge your attacks

  • Now any button in the menu that could redirect you to phase 1 does, instead of a few months back when you got redirected to phase 2

  • Some of the attacks of the old phase 1 were added in, but they've been redone a bit to make it more difficult, like the intro attack

  • Mario's phase 1 animation was adjusted a bit
