It's May devlog time! (I'm a couple days late)

So before I get into the bulk of this month's devlog, I wanna explain what my plan is going into June and going forward.

Specifically for the month of June, I plan to be taking a small break this month. I will still be working on the game, just not as often as I usually would. To put it in perspective, usually I'd be working on the game 6 - 9 hours 6 or so days a week, but for this month I plan on working on the game for about 2 - 3 hours every other day. It might not seem like that much of a break, but I think it will still allow me to relax a little bit more, while still making progress.

In terms of going forward, I plan to add a new section too these devlogs, where I detail what my plan is for the coming month. So my plan this month, is mainly about mapping and finishing up and retouching older maps.

  • Finish the Castle Town rework

  • Finish expanding Inik Town

  • Finish creating some maps in the first dungeon.

Now on to what happened in the month of May!

  • The UI has been revamped. (Personally, I think it looks great)

  • Multiple dialogue scene have been reformatted or rewritten.

  • Acessories have been overhauled. They now provide varied effects that will change how you may play the game. I think it will bring a fun level of customization that was absent before!

  • The foundation for a "skill learning" system has been created. Just like the revamped acessories, I think this will bring a fun level of customization.

  • The foundation for a "wandering trader" has been created. Not all that big or important, but it was fun to make sooooooooooo.....

Annnnnnnnd, that's it for this months devlog.

I'll see you next month with June's devlog.

All the best,

Stuck
