I have a new devlog! It's been a while, but development is back on the game after me starting to focus on other projects and school. I have done some UI resizing, updating the hitboxes, and the wall and floor textures.
Here is the new title for the demo version! I may also use this style for the final game's title.
Here's a new gameplay test with the bed and door active! Also, I just realized Archie may have to be scaled up a tiny bit again.
I finished the beginning dialogue, and added some basic walking and sprinting. After I add collision to the house, I may work on a stamina meter and the other controls for keyboard and mouse, touchscreen, and controller!
This jumpscare animation took me about 2 days to complete!
I just got finished testing the first part of the characters dialogue system, and I got the text for the unnamed birb set up. Now, I just need to get Archie's response set up, then it's time for the gameplay!
I regret to inform you that the game is going to be postponed until I can get the full version of Clickteam Fusion! I will try my best to get it released by June 11, but no guarantees! For right now, here is the gameplay I have so far!

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.
In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
