Jack B. Nimble Devlogs, Steam and iOS Sale


Kept you waiting, huh?

I know, it’s been a long while since an update. I’m currently adding the finishing touches to the Steam version of the game. But what does that mean for this old and creaky version hosted on Gamejolt?

Well, I’m currently thinking that I will update the game in line with the Steam version but without the additional levels and characters. So not a demo, or lite version of the Steam build, but rather an updated version of the existing game on here.

I don’t have a timeline for this plan, but it will certainly be after the Steam release.

There is some other news I’d like to highlight - as of this week, the AppStore is 10 years old! To celebrate Jack B. Nimble for iOS will be half price for the rest of the week - grab it now: https://itunes.apple.com/app/id918891211

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
