Jet Flap Turbo has been released!

I’ve followed casual games in general without putting much thought in it, thinking that many of them are slow and boring. I’ve thought to myself, “I could do that”. And then I realized, I actually could - leading to me making Jet Flap Turbo!

Jet Flap Turbo is a jetpack casual arcade game where you avoid obstacles, shoot enemies, and collect coins. Coins collected can be spent on upgrades, making your next run easier and leading to higher scores for the same effort! The game supports GameJolt highscores, so get out there, make a strong character, and wipe the floor with everyone else for a top spot!

Here's a peaceful little forest scene for this #screenshotsaturday, from the beginning of the game.

We made a lot of improvements on the Freezing Plains visual. Things like pine trees, tiny bushes, some rocks, and others game props!

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

I worked so hard to get all four of them to the end safely, but then...

Alone Together....

I mostly build 3D First Person Shooter game mechanics in Unity, and in this I'm just showing C4 mechanics I made for a little side project I am working on! :)
