@Enavol , WHAT ON EARTH ARE YOU ARE IS YOU DOING??!!
Time to remind people of Gamejolt and new followers of what I am doing here. Let's go, chat? Okay. (also, yes, I just spoke to myself, ignore that part)
Those are sprites I made for fun and not for a game! But I pretend this is a game anyway (turn-based RPG even!), so I will explain how the mechanic that creates the Warden would work in-game, hang in there.
How to summon the Warden?
First of all, you need a sculk shrieker... wait a second.
First of all, there are customizable parties in this "game", and when you put Wardy (Wacky Scientist) and Helen (Possessed Life-Sized Doll) together, the latter will unlock a skill that can be used in and outside of battle named "Trade I".
This skill basically merges both of them (by transferring Helen to Wardy), so you will lose Wardy and Helen as party members. Then, they will be replaced by another member, and that's when you get the powerful Warden on your team (status combined)!
DOWNSIDE TIME! Yeah, you heard me. Once you create this monstrosity, you need to finish your business fast. Warden keeps losing HP like Toejam in the water (she has higher HP, don't worry). Once Warden can't continue anymore, she divides and you receive Wardy and Helen back. Though Wardy is now KO'd and needs medical treatment, with Helen also incapable of fighting if you don't return to where you left her doll at.
Okay sir, how is Warden like? (personality-wise)
At first one would expect Warden to be Wardy's body with Helen's (a destructive and unstable person with neither consideration nor kindness) mind. I mean, that would be plausible, Helen is now possessing Wardy, that's how it works, yeah?
Yeah! ... I mean, if that was even the case anyway. Warden is not just Wardy as Helen's puppet (she can't even control herself so to speak!). Warden is a personality fusion! It's like taking Wardy's cheerful personality and adding the salt (of EVUL AND VENGEANCE) to it.
In other words, that is not Helen at all, that is a chaotic Wardy. That sort of thing will happen to anyone Helen decides to do Trade I with (no I won't be doing Warden-like sprites for every character I draw in rpg-style, that would wear me out SO quickly).
Show me the extras. Now.
yeah ok
If you ask Warden what her name is, she will ask how did you even manage to forget that, and look at you with a sad expression (will answer that her name is Wardy by the way).
Warden notices no difference in her body post-transformation, saying she was always like this (which is a big cap).
In-game, Warden is too smug to listen to her party members, so any team attack with her involved are completely unavailable.
Warden gets incomprehensibly scared after hearing a sample of MEGALOVANIA by Toby Fox for half a second (doesn't work if it's the full song).
Warden can't maintain her attention for long (just like Wardy).
