Okay, i've just come up with a definitive plan that should please everyone. I feel like I was way too vague and confusing in the last devlog. Ease Collection will not be split up into 2 games, the Ease reboot is a completely seperate game than Ease Collection, not "Ease Collection 2". Here's the plan: the Ease reboot will be developed after Ease Collection is finished. Ease Collection will contain Ease 1-15 (with the original Ease 1 and deluxe version) after the promised features of saving and loading, two player mode, improved graphics and music, expanded levels, misc polish. Ease 14 and 15 will be finished. So thats Ease Collection. The Ease Reboot will be contain remnants of the scrapped reimagined versions of Ease 1-15. The reimagined versions are not remasters; they are completely seperate games. For example, the Ease 1 reimaging is nothing like the original Ease 1. The original Ease 1 is a screen-based platformer with a boss at the end while the reimagined Ease 1 is a sidescrolling platformer with completely new mechanics and an emphasis on exploration. I hope this clears up any confusion. So, in short, Ease Collection will be remastered versions of the original 15 games (the same scratch games but better) while the Ease reboot game will contain some parts from the scrapped reimagined versions of the original 15 games.
I will not make a page for the Ease reboot game until its at least 60% complete. I don't want to announce the page and have people wait another 5 years for the game to finish. This game is way more ambitious than Ease Collection. All i'm going to say about the game for now is that there are 5+ 2D hub worlds being planned with tons of secrets and 50+ original levels. There will also be a never-before seen villain (but not never before heard of).
