June Devlog - Just an update

General Progress as of 30/6/2025

My exams are over and I've had my deltarune fix, so I went back to pushing for the next milestone (the closed playtest). It's quite close, but it's missing one crucial end battle.

While a lot of work was done for a critical long long cutscene at the milestone, there's going to be some uncertainty in the next coming month, so the milestone will probably take one more month at the minimum, especially since the battle has no bullet patterns designed yet.

That being said, while a ton of the sprites are just massive spoilers, I think removing the context masks enough to show a little:

Anywho, without revealing more stuff from the dense cutscene, here's a couple of screenshots of the prototyped royal guards to bring the image reveals up to date with Bluesky/Twitter:

April Devlog - Milestone Reached

More narrative details have been fleshed out, and one more minor fight has been roughly finished.

December Devlog - Happy Undertale Yellow Anniversary (soon)!

Finished the opening cutscene. Watch it on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7utbcklbDvY

The game is currently being developed, and playable sections exist. The base engine (built on Godot 4 in C#) is roughly done, but more will be added to it as the game goes on.

Made a new banner. Ran one playtest for the location. It should be done and dusted. On to the next location.

Beta testing has started. The game is about 80% or so done and hopefully can release by the end of April if the finishing levels can be made.

The game is already playable from start to finish, just some QOL, tutorial and pacing improvements left

Say hello to Poffoon! (Placeholder battle music)

Development has been going smoothly, though I expect it to slow a little in the coming months.

What you all think

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
