despite me saying all of that I do have one thing I'm not a fan of and it's this:
IF YOU HAVEN'T PLAYED THE GAME, LEAVE. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED.
I don't know if I've ever publicly stated this but I'll say it just in case, I am not a big fan of max modes. I don't find turning everything to 100 enjoyable at all and don't see the enjoyment of doing so (Which is why I don't like MML content or things related to that).
The reason why I'm talking about about this is not because there's a max mode in the game as that's stupid thing to complain about and those type of players exist which is fine. What I'm bitching is because in order to get all the end screens which are unlocked by playing as each guard in the custom night (shown in the first pic), in order to get them all you have to beat:
normal custom night (not max mode) three times.
Max mode three times.
And MAX MODE AGAIN BUT WITH ALL THE CHALLENGES ON THREE TIMES.YOU HAVE TO BEAT THREE TYPES OF MAX MODES TWICE JUST FOR A SCREEN, THAT IS RIDICLOUS AND NOT HOW YOU PAD OUT THE GAME.
I can't believe that this game has a literal custom night checklist, that's just wild to me and the fact you have to play the custom night (not counting deaths) 9 times just to complete it is just silly to me. The game was perfect with what was given to the player and did not need this at all, I just don't understand the need to do the hardest and 2nd hardest parts of the game six times for a different screen and see it as good content because to me it isn't. Oh and an extra slap in the face on locking two collectibles behind the custom night content as well (the ones that are arrowed), very nice. Idk if the secret minigames are also locked by the custom night but if they are then that's another slap to the player as well, I am disappointed by how the game goes about it's extra content when the game was good enough without it.
The game is fantastic and I recommend you play it but if you don't like Custom night type of stuff just do everything around it or stop at night 6. Alright, have a good one.
