Kumōkami (クモーカミ) is the deuteragonist of MetaMobius. He is a small, highly advanced robot created by Satoshi Matsumoto, serving as Satoshi’s loyal companion, protector, and eventual crime-fighting partner. Kumōkami’s name is a clever portmanteau of "Kumo (蜘蛛, Spider)" and "Ōkami (狼, Wolf)", reflecting his unique hybrid design. Kumōkami behaves with the unwavering loyalty and playful energy of a puppy, combined with the calculated precision of an arachnid. While he is incredibly gentle and affectionate toward Satoshi and his family, he becomes fiercely protective when his creator is threatened, unafraid to leap into battle alongside Spider-Wolf, protecting innocent people against criminals, Neo Troopers, or even rogue MetaMobians.
