Shigeru Kan’na (神奈茂) is a major character in MetaMobius. He is a dual-type Fighting/Steel MetaMobian tiger who possesses aura powers. As a very young cub, Shigeru was orphaned and left with no memories of his parents, and whether they were still alive. He was then found and adopted by an old timer (a Mobian red panda, to be exact), who raised him as his son in a small dojo, located in a waterfront town in Japan. There, the dojo master had taught him the traditional art of karate; he trained him with discipline, humility, and inner peace. One day, Shigeru woke up to find his aura powers awakened via the Meta Gene in his blood; not even the old red panda knew that he was a MetaMobian. But still, his master was patient enough to help him learn to control his newfound powers over time. Unfortunately, it wouldn't take long for the wrong person to find out about his powers and report to NeoTech Industries about a so-called "Bio-Monster" in that dojo. Soon after, the Neo Troopers were about barge into the dojo, targeting Shigeru (I mean, hunting down so-called "Bio-Monsters" is what they do), who was ready to fight back until his master stopped him; he told him to go and then await the true moment where he would use both his aura powers and karate skill to fight for the greater good. When the Troopers finally broke in, Shigeru was already gone and the red panda sacrificed himself to save him. From then on, Shigeru would spend his life travelling across Japan defending the defenseless.
