Hello fans of Underfell, long time no see!

I know, I know, it's been a hot minute since the last update post, and I sincerely apologize for the wait. There's been a lot of personal stuff happening behind the scenes that have backed us up for a bit. But I can safely say that progress is still underway, and we're easing our way back into working harder than ever!

So, I bet you all wanna see some progress, rather than hear me blabbering on about personal drama and whatnot.

Let's see what's new, shall we?

Firstly, we have some wonderful art of the twins and Flowey, drawn by our lovely Sandrine (started by NyanBinary).

Along with the art of the twins, Sandrine has also provided some wonderful concept art for us to use when designing areas of the game. This specific concept art is of the "Lumina Tree" which stands in the middle of the Temple. Originally a large bushy tree, this new tree has a special new meaning to the lore of the game, and needed a fresh design to fit our vision.

While I can't show anything too specific, we have also been working on new small and large sprites for items found within the game! From spider croissants, to marshmallows, to secret keys, all of these items will have overworld sprites and larger, semi-detailed artwork to examine! A small detail, yes, but something to spice up the item menu in the long run!

Finally, an update on actual progress with the demo. We've mostly cleared the cave section, with only a few small things to fix up on that end. We're now entering progress on the schoolhouse itself, meaning we're even closer than ever to reaching the end of the demo! I can feel myself shaking with excitement!!

One last thing before this post ends. We've been taking time to restructure parts of the team and understand where we need to go in order to make this project work. In doing so, we've realized we're fairly understaffed in some departments. Mainly pixel art, concept art, and programming. We also would love any applicants interested in translations. That being said, with progress beginning to ramp up again, expect more exciting news in the future, and hopefully we will announce playtesting and more VERY soon! So look forward to that!
