Late night jamming

Hello there jam enthusiasts! My name is Hugh McGinley, and I’m helping produce “Puff Saga”, a fun little Flash game which is being created in three days (fingers crossed) by a few artists and game developers for the Indies VS PewDiePie Game Jam.

Tonight, a few members of the team are hard at work on the first night of the game jam competition! Our prop artist, April Giron, is currently working on assets for the game, and our 2D animator, Kanae Fukuda, is working on the animations for the main player character. We also have our programmer, Julius Claudio, working on controls and other game elements to make sure the game actually works. XP

Earlier today we had our writer, Daniella Flores, create some amazing dialogue for the project. This included portions for the opening comic strip, and dialogue within the game that takes place between the main character and secondary characters. We also had our composer, Kile Smart, begin work on the main menu music and the in-game music.

We’re all scrambling here to hopefuly get a good first-chunk of this game in the books. Thanks for taking the time to check out our project, and stay tuned for more to come!

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

One of the most critical update for Sunblaze demo. Now you are able to pet a cat! Finally!

If you have more of an acquired taste, the restaurants in Niravasi have you covered! Maybe skip the salad bar, though.

Out of boredom and curiosity, I coded Sailor Jupiter's Argentine Backbreaker.

Here's a Fredbear sprite i made in Aseprite! I'm pretty proud of this!
