Late progress update on my development

Hey everyone, sorry for not posting lately I've been I little busy working on the game and other projects, so I haven't really been able to post on my progression all that much, that and I really didn't know what to post about all that much, got kind of like a creators block. It happens. But I now finally got some things to share with you guys as far as my development progress on the game.

1. First thing I want to talk about is the story.

At this moment, the whole story for the game is pretty much finished with, though I do still need to have the whole script of it written down somewhere for later reference.

I'm many just planning on revealing the story for when I finally update the Gamepage, so I most likely won't say much of it in this post. But basically this would mean that about 20% of this games development is done (if you count the story), so that's all I gotta say for this. Moving on....

2. The second thing that I wanted to talk about was Gameplay.

So far as of right now, the game isn't really all that playable. Like you can start the game and scroll through the main menu and the settings, but as for the actual game in of itself. Not really function-able at the moment, but I am planning starting that in the next week or two. After I get all the main models and UI stuff done.

3. The other I wanted to add to this list was my progress on the UI.

This is the one thing in this whole list of things I have have progress on that I'm pretty much done with(for the most part anyways). I'm done with it's functions and effects, but there are some aspects of it that I'm still working on. Mainly the overall design. Making it look cool, that's about it.

4. The next thing I wanted to get into are the enemies.

So far at this point I only have a couple of the monster designs fully finished and done with. No more changes are to be made to them, they are done. But there are still a few others ones that I'm still working on.

Here's a small peak into who of the ones that I have finished. If you're usually active on The FNAF Scratch Plaza Discord server, you've probably have seen the full model.

Some people in the server mentioned how much detail the vector model had and wondered how many blue dots that there were going to be when you click the reshape button and scan through the model. Well let's just say.... there's a lot.

5. The only other thing that I wanted to share is some models and assets that I'm working or that I've finished.

You know, just some small tidbits of what's going to be in the game. Here's a small list -

  1. A flashlight (it's only the rep model, the finally model is still being worked on. And it's not that big btw.)

    image.png

About 95% of all horror games have flashlights, so there being a flashlight mechanic isn't anything special. I am still working on the flashlight mechanic, but it shouldn't take to long.

  2. Teddy Bear (there's not much to this, it's just some asset model that I'm using for the background)

    (Insert Image)

  3. Television (this is also just a background asset. nothing much to it)

    (Insert image)

  4. A window (get it, cause the game of the game is Windows)

    (Insert image)

That's all I got to share to you guys for right now. If you got any questions about the game and/or it's progression, you can ask in the comment section of this post.

That's all
