A couple of weeks ago we talked about Gail, the twelve-year-old who is able to manage a whole shop on her own. Let’s take a look at some of the other shops we’ll find in the city.

Within the streets of the rich quarter, away from the main roads, we find “Le Lumiere”, a small part of Paris captured in a shop.
This establishment reminds us how eclectic this place is. Trading brought not only money but also cultural influences, and the citizens seem to be fascinated by what other countries have to offer.

As we step into the shop we see why it’s located in this part of the city. Luxury items fill every shelf. There’s perfumes, wines, jewelry and all kinds of expensive items.

The person behind the counter is no other than Florence Peyton, probably one of the kindest souls in the upper classes.

She will use every chance to sneak French words or expressions during conversations, letting you know how much she loves France.
Florence spends most of her time working at the shop, but she is genuinely worried about the situation in the city and helping those who need it. Most of her events in the game will be related either to managing the shop or learning more about the situation in other parts of the city.
Fun fact about this character, even though we tend to avoid drawing inspiration from a single source, the artist at AlPixel Games admitted Florence was heavily influenced by Amelia, a character from a well-known Spanish sci-fi TV show.
