Leaderboards, Gamejolt API, Gameplay and Fonts!

Leaderboard & Gamejolt API

Box Lander is now running the Gamejolt API v2 which allows access to leaderboards, achievements/trophies etc.

Currently I’ve implemented a leaderboard, it’s required that you login to Gamejolt for your score to be counted on the leaderboard, if you’re using the Webplayer you’ll only need to be logged into the Gamejolt website and the game will do the rest.

If you’re using the standalone version you’ll need to manually login although don’t fear you’ll only have to do this once, after that you’ll be able to click the “Login with previous User/Token” button and it’ll automatically fill out your details!

Gameplay

This is only a small update but I’ve altered the number of jumps you can do in the air from 2 to 1, having 2 made the game extremely easy if you followed the pattern which required little skill.

Fonts

A small update but I’ve updated the font for the game from Arial to a much more fitting font for the game which hopefully enhances the quality of the game.

Thanks for reading!

I have added rewards for quests so that villagers can give you something in return for your hard work helping them. 🥳

I want to know - what's your favourite quest reward?

Heya! I wanted to show some gameplay progress i made so far. I hope you like it ^^

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.

Demonstration of the spells and their effects :)!
