A quick update:
Implemented a few sound effects.
Game now saves your highest score and displays it.
Implemeted the Gamejolt API (However have no setup tables/achievements ... yet)
Has the ability to play background music but I'm still currently looking for suitable background music.
Thanks!
Game API/Scoreboard has been implemented!
I saw the first videa and I'm like, "Okay, how can this possibly be addicting? It looks so easy and pointless." I then go on to play the actual game and I can't get past three points and I was addicted quickly. It's an alright game, it just needs more features, game modes, objectives, and audio.
Really simple and fun!
Very relaxing to play, should add some background music though. :D
cool
Tired of clicking cookies and making stupid birds fly for no apparent reason!?! Well look no further because we have another absolutely pointless game for you to play!
You can learn to master the art of flying boxes from a platform into another box. Compete with your friends and other weird people from all over the internet to find who the true box master is!
Thousands of man hours have gone into the research and development of the perfect box so don't shy away from your chance of a once in a life time experience!
Here's the boring basic bits you need to know!
Fly cubes from the starting platform into the box without touching the ground!
Use <A> and <D> or <Left> and <Right> to control your character and use <Space> to jump/fly.
Box Lander is absolutely FREE (that's why it's on Gamejolt) so download it or play through the Unity Webplayer!
#IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR GOOGLE CHROME USERS!
Google Chrome has recently ended support for the Unity Webplayer however you still have 2 options.
1) Download an alternate browser such as Firefox, Opera or Chromium which all support the Unity Webplayer.
2) There is a small work-around which can be done to allow you to use the webplayer on Chrome. Simply search: chrome://flags/#enable-npapi Then click 'Enable' for "Enable NPAPI Mac, Windows". (This is only a temporary work-around and may be removed in the future. You still need the Unity Webplayer to be installed on your PC)
3) Options 1 and 2 may no longer work, in this case you'll be required to download the game directly.
